He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force Band, where he served as a musical ambassador, bandleader, and featured soloist. A Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance, Dr. Trimmins is an accomplished educator as well as a performer, currently serving as a Professor of Music while continuing an active concert career.
