Saxophonist and Composer Darien Phillips

@ SHOWTIMES: 7PM AND 9PM. Darien Phillips is a producer, composer, and audio engineer whose music blends elements of jazz, funk, hip-hop, and Latin fusion into a modern, groove-driven sound. A trained musician with a strong foundation in performance and composition, Darien is an alumnus of Tennessee State University, where he performed in the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Collegians, and the renowned Aristocrat of Bands, marching two different instruments during his time in the program. He also served as principal chair saxophonist for the Nashville African American Wind Symphony. His background in both live performance and audio engineering heavily influences his production style, combining rich harmony, live-style instrumentation, and polished mixes that feel both timeless and contemporary.
